Spiritual accompanying and guidance for soul growth enjoys a long history within the church, and it appears to be experiencing a resurgence in our time.

What is Spiritual Accompanying and Guidance?

Spiritual accompanying and guidance is prayerful and active presence; rendering a service of sensitivity to the Holy Spirit in support of another for their spiritual growth and development.

The accompanying ministry assists by helping you to model your life “into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ”  (II Cor. 3:18) and foster the ongoing process of “putting on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator”( Col. 3:10).

Spiritual accompanying and guidance is separate and distinct from other forms of counseling such as: pastoral counseling or psychotherapy. Spiritual accompanying and guidance establishes a special relationship, which helps a person grow in their relationship with God through prayer, personal awareness and developing spiritual practices that keep an individual present and sensitive to the sanctifying work of God.

How often do we meet?

Most Spiritual direction and accompaniment appointments are most effective with a regular and defined schedule determined together.

What is the cost of this service?

As a non-profit serving those in ministry leadership no one will ever be denied by an inability to pay and all are encouraged to pay something meaningful along a sliding fee schedule from $25 – 100.   We average right at $75/  for each 1 – 1 ½ hour session.   Most Ministry leaders commit to a 6 – 8 month period before re-evaluating the benefits to the individual seeking spiritual direction or accompaniment.
